Description |
Mohyla Institute is a student residence located three blocks south of the U of S. We have large single rooms available for the Winter term 2025 school year. Included in the rent are all utilities (heat, water & power), laundry, and internet (wi-fi & hardline in). Rent includes buffet-style meals and a 24/7 food area called Baba’s Bistro, which has a microwave, toaster oven, toaster, air fryer, kettle, coffee pot, and refrigerators that we stock with food. Food items in Baba’s Bistro include items such as cold cereal, bread, bagels, fruit, muffins, cookies, coffee, tea, milk, yogurt, sandwich materials, etc. The bedrooms are fully furnished with a desk, chair, twin bed, and a floor-to-ceiling closet with a built-in dresser. Building amenities include a workout room, study room, a theatre room, foosball, ping-pong and pool tables, and additional lounge areas. We have a piano available as well. Our rooms are traditional dormitory-style, so the washrooms are shared. The bathrooms are gendered and there is either a men’s or a women's washroom in each wing. The wings are co-ed with a short walk to either wing to reach the washrooms. We have a student society that plans functions for the residents and maintains resident common areas. There is a mandatory fee for this society of $50 per term. Rent for the regular room is $1,150 per month. Short-term stays (less than four full months) are an additional $100 per month. We rent by the full calendar month, for partial months charging $85 per day until you hit the monthly rate. We require a damage deposit of $500 and an administrative deposit of $250. If you are interested, please email us for an application form, [email removed]. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask. |
