| Welcome to High Park, (please read all the information over/I've included--we are receiving numerous expressions of interest--but lacking any substantial requested information in return) I have ONE UNfurnished bedroom in my 1200 sq ft, 3-bedroom Furnished apartment. With a million dollar view. The two people who live here now: One works in Human Resources, the other works for the Airlines. One guy is straight. One guy is gay. The room is available from about Sept 30th onwards. Flexible. Bit earlier or bit later might be possible The apartment building is only 4 stories...and a 2-minute walk into High Park! This is an apartment, and NOT a condo or house. It's a 100 year old building with lots of character. It was actually a Hotel in the 1930's! Apartment is Furnished Bedroom is UNfurnished Please read all the info over. If you'd like a reply from me, please please answer ALL the posted questions in detail. I won't reply otherwise. As we are still in times of health uncertainties, there are a few extra steps we all must take. We're fully vaccinated, and you must as well-- You must be in a good "head space": bring positivity, and have experience living with others. Male or female. 30+ You have your own bedroom things and other personal items. I would consider someone short-term or long-term. Room details: 1) Bedroom space is 10ft X 10ft, with a large 3ft X 4ft closet. Twin/double bed only (queen bed will not fit), also can hold a desk and dresser. Beige carpet. West facing window. $925/month There is one shared, clean bathroom, with tub/shower and excellent water pressure. The room is for ONE person only. Along Bloor West, there is one apartment building (used to be a hotel) which overlooks High Park...just one block away. I am right beside High Park, south side of Bloor. Very quiet, no subway noise or loud road traffic. Excellent heritage building, responsible building management. Shared clean washroom/excellent water pressure, new washer/dryer in unit. Clean. Bright. QUIET. Large Balcony facing south towards Lake Ontario and High Park. High Park has swimming/tennis in summer, skating in winter. And the best walking trails over 400 acres. Awesome view (like a tree house). 3rd floor private balcony. 1200 sq ft. inside, 100 sq ft outside. Lots of plants and windows. High Park location is 20 minutes on subway from Yonge/Bloor, 4-5km if walking..15 mins if biking.. Outdoor bike parking area. No car parking. For those living there, it is a bit of private retreat after long work days. A VERY quiet, safe and clean space. Apartment and area must be seen, usual size bedrooms, closets in each one. I'm not providing tons of pictures because they don't do justice to the space. If you are serious about the location, and know the High Park area, then this is the first step. Reach out. If you are looking to live beside a 400-acre park, this is the place! This is your backyard. Fresh air and privacy. The green park space we spend time in has been incredible during these last few years of uncertainty. Two blocks from here is excellent library, grocery, lcbo, shoppers drug mart, salons, running room, bike stores, coffee shops, bakeries etc...all the important destinations. I am looking for ONE new roommate at the present time. Rent is $925--includes hydro and internet. First and last required, although not at same time, 3 days apart if needed. We have one tv (basic channels), and unlimited internet plan. No one has watched the tv in 2 years! Non-smokers only, no smoking/vaping/drugs of any kind/no exceptions, and no pets. (its in my lease) Ideal qualities..working in creative industries, arts/culture lover, physically active (runner/cyclist/daily walker), stable, professional, respectful, mature, responsible, QUIET, passionate about what you do, HAS LIVED WITH PEOPLE BEFORE, may have some furnishings to bring. We all live together and respect others personal space, everything reasonable shared, chores split equally...this is important. Pls tell me a bit about yourself. Where do live now? Why do you need to move? Why High Park? Where do you work generally/what do you do/do you work hybrid or in an office setting...If you are serious about this posting, answering these questions are important.
