Amazing location with everything you need like Loblaws and Metro, and tons of great restaurants and bars within a 5-minute walk. So many gyms, Yoga studios, Sherwood Park, Eglinton Park, 5 minute walk to Yonge and Eglinton TTC subway station (10 minute subway ride to downtown), Cineplex Movie theatre, shopping mall, Comedy club, Gyms, many bubble tea shops, cafes, basically everything is right here. The apartment is shared with me (27 F), my older cat and my golden retriever (Important that you are comfortable living with pets). My dog is very friendly and quiet, I do my best to keep the pet hair to a minimum but there’s still some. I am a professional artist and aside from work, I love trying new food, cooking, walking my dog and reading. I’m happy to socialize, but respect others’ privacy and space as well. I’m cognizant of other people’s space/time and look to have the apartment reflective of a peaceful, safe space to hang out, relax and be creative. There isn’t air conditioning, but you are welcome to use a window unit. Laundry is on every floor. I am seeking a roommate who is eager to collaborate on maintaining cleanliness in our shared areas (kitchen, bathroom, and living room) and communicates openly about apartment necessities. The private bedroom can come with a bed or you can bring all your own stuff, the rest of the apartment is fully furnished with all the essentials! I strive to be a minimalistic home where the clutter is manageable and things are clean. I prioritize maintaining an organized and clutter-free living space. It's important to me that my potential roommate is welcoming and inclusive, specifically being BIPOC, neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ friendly. While guests are always welcome, I kindly request no parties. Open communication is of high value to me, I strive to make the space an accepting and open-minded living environment. Accessibility: There are 5 steps to get into the lobby so it is not greatly accessible. For the next couple of months there is construction happening on the outside of the building, if you work a typical 9-5 this shouldn't be a problem with sound, I work from home part time and use white noise, and it's manageable.
