There's a screened-in porch, few steps away from the water, with 185-foot of shoreline overlooking the vast open of lake-view. It comes with a pedal boat, canoe, kayak. There are TV and DVD player; WiFi is available on-site. Centrally-located heat-pump for hot or cold days. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there is also propane-gas BBQ outside. 4-piece bathroom with hot-water tank. Recently renovated kitchen. It has all the attractions that come with the historic Rideau System, which was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). The shopping is at Newboro (2km) or Westport (10km). The water is deep, clean, perfect for swimming (no weeds) and all the other water sports. A gradual walk along the shoreline, or you can jump off the dock. The fishing is amazing, good sized smallmouth bass are right off the dock, as well as walleye, and pike. There's a fire pit for those cool nights with marshmallows. No smoking indoors, no partying. The cottage has been ideally suited for a couple, or a family with children. It's a beautiful, peaceful and private place.
