| Two furnished bedrooms available for students/working professionals in a spacious country home (8 minute drive to Trent University by car; 6 min to SGS; 4 min to 24/7 Lakefield Foodland). Available October 1, 2024 or sooner depending on need. Bedrooms are furnished with new beds, mattresses, linens (2 sets), desks and chairs. They also have closets, bedside tables, and dressers. Parking, internet, utilities, and laundry included. Tenants share a full bathroom, kitchen, large dining and living rooms upstairs, big recreational room with fire place in basement, and outside areas. Tenant bedrooms are keyed. Home owner lives in basement with own bathroom, fridge, and freezer, but shares other common spaces with tenants. Owner has 4 loving and sociable pets (2 cats and 2 dogs) that have free access to all shared areas (they are fed and have litter boxes in the basement, away from tenants). Owner does lawn care and snow removal. It is an easy drive to Trent by car. However, “The Link” bus service has a route that passes near the house several times a day (5x toward Trent and 6x toward home between 7AM and 10:30PM). This route is in a Flag Bus Stop Zone, so you can flag the bus driver to get on/off the bus closer to the house (~200m) than the nearest bus stop (~1.3km from house).
