| We have 3 rooms available, from $850 to $1200. Upstairs rooms are very big. Double occupancy is possible for largest room, please inquire. First and last months rent required, unless this is a short stay. Community-oriented, open to sharing food, cooking together, gardening, mutual support. We will be creating arts workshops offered out of the home (music, writing, visual art, music, life) and are open to ‘artists-in-residence collaboration.’ The entire house accommodates 7 or 8 residents. Woods in the backyard! Lots of nature trails. Pasapkedjinawong (Rideau River) is a very short walk away, and Mooney's Bay beach, and Hogs Back Falls 5 min. Very safe neighbourhood. Excellent trail access to central Ottawa through Arboretum and to Carling through Experimental Farm. Generous amount of storage space in basement. Possible to create a rec room (would love to get a ping pong table!!). Close to Carleton U, 10 - 15 min by bike and walkable in 30 min. Diverse and inclusive. Great for students, artists, workers, and we are disability-friendly - main floor entrance can be made wheelchair accessible without much difficulty. |
