| Furnished room available in heritage home in downtown Oakville (SINGLE OCCUPANCY, NO PETS AND NON-SMOKERS ONLY, PLEASE). Shared fully-outfitted kitchen and bath (there are two bathrooms, one with shower, the other with Victorian bath tub) with Resident landlady-owner and one other boarder. Included in the monthly rent are wi-fi, utilities, laundry facilities, and professional cleaning service once every 3 weeks. Would suit individual who is looking for a respect for privacy and domestic harmony, preferably with a job that is out of the home. It is a small house, so COVID vaccinations and subsequent boosters have to be up-to-date . There is no lease. On the 15th of each month, the landlady checks in to see if there are any concerns/questions and if it’s no longer a good “fit”, (for either party) then there is no obligation to stay. Some boarders remain for years, some remain for the single month. Either way, you only stay if the arrangement is working for all! |
