| Room for Rent in Clarington (Newcastle) Not a boarding house, this is my home. If even a little bit interested, please drop me a line so I can describe it in more detail. I have one room to rent in my 4 bedroom home in Newcastle, two minutes from the 401. I’m gone every other week and there is one other person renting another room. However, in September I will be gone most of the time so there will just be two of you sharing the entire house. Since the house is shared with my son and I, I’m ideally looking for a single, settled, responsible, male tenant. My home is in a quiet area with free parking available in the driveway. You supply the furniture you need for your bedroom (although there is some there if needed) and I’ll supply the Wi-Fi, cable on main floor, power, water, in house laundry, and other furnishings. You’ll have complete access to all the common areas of the home including bathroom, living room, kitchen, basement, garage, backyard, patio that includes a large Bar-B-Q, a firepit, and a great view of the park. Rent will be $1000 per month due at the first of every month. Newcastle is a great little town with two grocery stores, an LCBO, several excellent pubs, and a great small-town vibe. Ideally, I’m looking for someone to stay at least six months (we can discuss but I ALWAYS do month to month leases as I'm not interested in binding anyone to a longer lease as I do appreciate situations change) but preferably longer, a non smoker, and not too noisy. Perfect for OPG workers who are looking for a local spot to crash or any professionals new to the area. References, credit check, and income to be verified upon application.
