| Hello, I am a 64 years young female seeking to make a positive long-term friendship-only connection with another individual (preferably female) who is also wanting to share a harmonious home environment with a compatible other. This connection could be with someone who already has their own home which they'd like to share. Or it could be with someone who would like to find a new space together. Whatever the preference, I would like to make an arrangement with another mature person of similar disposition and life philosophy – preferably a sensitive, kind and considerate, emotionally-balanced individual who also has some spiritual interests (non-religious type). I envision the space large enough to provide each of us adequate room for independent pursuits, but friendly and open enough so that we can share a positive connection as we’d like to. Given that I'm an independent and introspective person by nature, I need my own time and space. However, I am also affable, easy to get to know and get along with and always enjoy rich and heartfelt interactions with others. (I grew up in a family of eight children. My mother leaned toward social work, so besides the eight siblings there were foster children coming into our home regularly for much of my growing up period.) Regarding how I would generally be around the home, I’d expect you’d find me adaptable, clean, organized and capable. And I would have no problem helping with everyday practical affairs. With respect to my professional background, I have worked for a significant time with children, first as a preschool teacher and supervisor and then as an elementary school teacher in the special education department. This I followed up with many years working as a counselor and psychotherapist, primarily with adults. Currently I am extending my passion for helping people in the counseling and personal growth area by writing a comprehensive book on the inner spiritual journey. I am excited about the potentials coming out of this and am looking forward to time opening up to focus on that. The present context for my move is that my long-term common-law partner of 30 years is in the process of going into long-term care, because of early aging issues. I have been his full-time caregiver for the past few years and am now free to move on. So, if you have any pets I would surely enjoy them and treat them as my own. (I have experience house and pet sitting which I combined with travel. I have online reviews.)
