| OFFERING SUBLET (for students/working professionals) TYPE: offering one room on first floor of a house (you will be sharing the unit with one other person) the house includes front porch and backyard; the unit has two bedrooms (one room already occupied), one washroom, kitchen and living room with washer and dryer available in the basement of the house! The room can come furnished/unfurnished depending on your choice. RENT: $1250/month UTILITIES: separate but usually between an extra $25-$60 depending on the usage. LOCATION: Etobicoke (close to Long Branch Go Station) DATE AVAILABLE: Dec. 1st, 2024 TERM: 5 months until April 30, 2025 ACCESS INFO: - You have to take one set of stairs to reach the unit - The unit is not wheelchair accessible - no smoking inside or outside CONTEXT/ INFORMATION/ RELATIONSHIP TO THE UNIT: Me and my friend have been leasing this unit since 2023 when we were attending college. After we finished school this year, we decided to stay on as we absolutely love this space. I am subletting my room as I will be travelling for a few months and I don’t want to give up this space. The landlady is super friendly and helpful. The house is at a 8 minute streetcar ride to Humber College- Lakeshore Campus. The house is situated at few minutes walk to many modes of transportations including buses, streetcars, and the long branch go station (which provides easy access to both eastern and western lakeshore lines)- downtown toronto (25 minutes to union station) & mississauga/Oakville. There are pharmacies (shoppers & rexall), no frills, dollarama, LCBO and many other restaurants within convenient walking distance. My favourite part of this location are the beach and the trails which is within a few minutes of walking distance ideal for anyone who wants some time to recharge near the water or take a walk in the trails. FLATMATE DETAILS: You will be sharing the common areas with my friend. She is looking for someone who is clean, respectful, quiet and friendly! She is an absolute vibe to be around, so you will have the best time and will get along really well if you are someone who checks those boxes. She prefers women and queer folks!
