| A solution to the ridiculous state of housing in Ottawa. Is commuting out of the city worth saving some money and having a WAYYYYY better quality of life. I have a property 25-30 minutes from Ottawa that has PLENTY of space for someone to put a tiny home on. OR multiple tiny homes if you like the idea of a community with like minded people. I have come up with a few options with a supplied tiny home from us.. Straight rent payments monthly for $1500 which would include water, electricity and septic. (You’d be paying for your electricity use. Water would be from a well. Option two would be more expensive but WE would supply the tiny home and you’d pay essentially a mortgage so that you would own it at the end of a pre determined time. $2200 monthly. You wouldn’t own the land but you’d own the tiny home so you could save up money and get your own land eventually. 3- you bring a tiny home to our land and connect it to the utilities and pay $1000 a month. All of the options would include a private space with your own gardening plot and you could customize it to your liking. Fence, deck, etc. Parking is not an issue.
