| Beautiful 4-bdrm waterfront house available for winter and spring rental from mid-October 2024 to mid-May 2025. I may also consider a full year rental at an increased rate to account for use of the house in the summer. The property is located on Mississippi Lake on excellent, deep waterfront with great ice fishing nearby. House is ±15-20 minutes from Carleton Place or Perth, ±30 minutes to Canadian Tire Centre and less than 1 hour to downtown Ottawa (the previous owner commuted downtown Ottawa daily). The property is located on a private maintained roadway that is typically cleared of snow within hours of heavy snowfall. The house is a split level with walkout to the lake side, and includes two bedrooms per floor, and one full bathroom on the upper / main floor. A full stainless LG appliance suite is included in the recently renovated kitchen (with dishwasher), as well as washer/dryer in the basement. The house is available furnished. Tenant pays utilities (propane and electricity) and will need to supply their own bottled drinking water (a water cooler is provided). Excellent high speed internet via Starlink. The tenant is responsible for driveway snow removal and yard maintenance of the property. Weekly garbage and recycling pick-up at driveway. Use of the garage is not included as I’m using it for storage, however some storage in the enclosed carport can be made available if required. Rent is $3,200 per month + utilities, credit check, employment letter, and references required. I’m not interested in renting just for the summer at this time, but I may entertain a year-long lease at an appropriate price. |
