Description
Hi All, I’d like to post two rooms I have available for rent starting July 2024. You’re welcome to rent just one, or both rooms. About the unit: This is a newly renovated, well lit sun-soaked south-east facing 2+1 room, 2 bath condo located at 200 Lagerfeld Drive. Both rooms and the common areas all have unobstructed views. The primary bedroom is pretty large - it contains it’s own full en-suite bathroom, and walk-in closet. It includes a queen size bed and if you prefer, I can also include a computer desk (you can pick - regular, electric, L-shape, etc.), office chair and equipment in order to accommodate for work-from-home choices (if you prefer). It could also just be unfurnished. It’s 1700/month The other room is also pretty large but has a regular closet. It contains a double bed and I’ve included another clothing rack if you prefer. I can also include a computer desk (you can pick - regular, electric, L-shape, etc.), office chair and equipment in order to accommodate for work-from-home choices (if you prefer). It could also just be unfurnished. The full bathroom for this room is right across - it contains a soaker tub so it’s a fairly large bathroom. Inside this bathroom there is another door to the laundry room which also has ample space. It’s 1600/month The common areas are also fully furnished. Can be unfurnished as well if you prefer. Unlimited internet, HVAC (Heating/A/C), In unit washer, dryer, and dishwasher included. Installed new water filters to get refined water straight from the tap. All appliances are stainless steel. Plenty kitchen storage. Utilities (hydro, water, etc.) aren’t too bad - they’re about $60 all together a month year-round. I find that the units in this building are really good at regulating heating and cooling in the summers and winters, therefore that translates to not feeling like you constantly have to heat or cool the unit = why utilities are pretty cheap compared to other buildings. The balcony has retractible glass which allows it to fully open up like a conventional balcony, or fully closed therefore it can be used throughout the entire year. There is an extra storage locker by parking with access to ample unground bike racks. Please let me know if you require parking as well. Additions: - Can come fully furnished (or unfurnished) and can even be stocked with supplies/extras if you like (such as cleaning supplies, storage/organizers, extra appliances, etc.) - All furnishings are brand new and never been used - including the linens - a smart tv Roku package containing streaming services such as: - Amazon Prime - Disney+ - Paramount+ - Apple TV - Regular News and Weather programming - And Several Others - Currently also looking to acquire an upright freezer for extra freezer space - If you have any other ideas or suggestions for additions to anywhere in the unit, please don’t hesitate to let me know :) About the building: The building includes a party room with a separate entrance outside. There is a playground at the back of the building. This building is roughly 3 years old and a 10-minute walk from a hub for many major city bus routes as well as Brampton’s Mt. Pleasant GO Station; the Kitchener line runs through here that could take you all the way west to Kitchener, to all the way East to downtown Toronto’s Union Station. Getting to Union Station takes around 45 minutes. The 4 bus route goes directly to Sheridan College’s Davis Campus. Right beside the stations there is Mt. Pleasant Village, which includes the community centre, an elementary school, an outdoor skating rink in the winter, and a Brampton Public library branch.
About me: I work hybrid so half of the week I’m in Brampton, half I’m in Toronto. On the weekends I’m also away during the days. You’re welcome to commute with me downtown when I’m going in, as it’s by driving and it’ll be at no cost to you (saves you trips and $$$ from using the GO) :) You’re also welcome to come along for weekly trips if you need to run errands or grab anything (groceries, the mall, etc.) - saves you from having to lug bags on public transit.
Required Documents: - First and last month’s rent deposit - Proof of income or proof of enrolment - References - Government ID - credit check If you’re interested please reach out - We can book some time for a walk through and next steps!
