Description
Basement open-concept bachelor in lovely Leslieville available for February 1st. The unit is well lit with natural light, has radiant heat, ample storage and closet space, and resides on a beautiful tree-lined street. Close to amazing local amenities, such as Maha's (the best Egyptian food in the city), Greenwood Park and TTC: Gerrard streetcar and Greenwood subway station. To make life even easier and more pleasant, there is laundry on site. As well, we are happy to rent the unit furnished, partly furnished or empty – you will have a choice in this regard. It is a really sweet apartment – only suitable for one person and we would actually be more than pleased if that person has a small dog. We have two small dogs who are delightful and we are keen to have a tenant who also has a dog so they can be friends and enjoy our back garden together. Please touch base if you are interested and we will find a time for you to come and have a look. In addition to our words about this sweet unit, we are including a few words from our current tenants who have lived in the unit for the past year. They are a lovely couple from Dublin, Ireland who are on a two-year Visa. As of February, they are off to explore Vancouver before heading home. “We have loved our time living here and will cherish it for the rest of our lives. Mike and Susan have not just been excellent and attentive landlords but have also become dear friends of ours. We will truly miss the hospitality they extended to us during our time here in Toronto. This hospitality we have come to find is plentiful in this part of the city, which is much quieter than the busy downtown area, and full of families, tree-lined streets and beautiful green spaces, as well as countless independent retailers, cafés, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Our little chihuahua, Peanut, has also formed lifelong bonds with many dogs in the area but especially with Bean and Spot, Mike and Susan’s two lovely doggos. This apartment is ideal for someone looking to live close to downtown Toronto but still have that small town community feel. The east side has so much heart and character. Having explored a lot of Toronto in our year here, we would not choose to live elsewhere in the city. The apartment itself is bright and spacious, with high ceilings, large storage closets, and ample space to create separate dining, sleeping and living areas. We were very comfortable in highs and lows of temperature, with excellent heating and insulation for the cold winter months. If ever we had any maintenance issues, Mike and Susan were available immediately to help. With Mike having years of experience in construction and building maintenance, there was never a problem he couldn’t fix in a timely fashion. We believe the future tenant will be very fortunate to have such a lovely space and great landlords!” Corey, Meg and Peanut.
