| 1 FEMALE ROOMMATE WANTED to share a 3 bedroom house with! I am looking for 1 roommate to share a 3 bedroom/1 bathroom house with starting July 1st - ideally someone who works for the government or a mature student (no smokers please). I am hoping to find someone who wants to stay for a while, as I plan to stay a long time. It would just be you and myself living in the house, as well as my small, super sweet 5-year-old rescue dog. Unfortunately I can't accept anyone with pets as my dog is territorial with other animals (she loves people though!). I have included information about myself at the bottom of the ad! About the house: The house is centrally located in the Overbrook neighbourhood. It is a 10 minute walk to Loblaws, 20 minute walk to FreshCo and a couple blocks from the river pathway. It is serviced by bus routes 9 and 18 (3 min walk to bus stop). It is less than a 30 min bus ride to downtown and a 15 min bus to Global Affairs on Sussex. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor (there would only be 2 of us sharing the house). The third bedroom can be used as an office space. There is also lots of space in the basement that could be used for occasional guests. The house has central air conditioning and heating, washer and dryer in basement, a remote-controlled fireplace in the living room, a dishwasher, and a backyard with a shed for extra storage. The landlady lives in another part of the basement with a separate entrance (separate unit) and she is only there half of the year. The house will be fully furnished (except for your bedroom/office). If you have other furniture it could complement what I already have as I'm sure we could use more. There are 2 tandem parking spots and plenty of street parking. I just need one of the spots for my car. The rent is $1363 each per month including utilities. In addition, we would need to split the cost of an internet plan and tenants' insurance (I would estimate an extra $30-50 each per month). About me: I am a 30-year-old woman who works for the government. I am quiet, responsible, and respectful. I am fully fluent in Spanish and have advanced level French. Some of things I enjoy include travelling, staying active, coffee, and dogs. I am always up for trying something new and meeting new people!
