| Offering a bright, spacious living space and looking for a roommate to call it home. It's the entire 1st floor of a 3 floor home in Dartmouth Woodside (12 min walk to the ferry). $1,150 /mo (internet, heat, electricity, water incl) Albeit it's a rooming situation and not a fully separate apartment, you get your own kitchen, your own entrance, your own bathroom, and the shared laundry + dryer is in your space (which is a pro and a con). There's a backyard and you would be most welcome to have a garden in the summer. My family lives upstairs so I will be very careful about picking the right person. And with the right person we'll talk about what you'd need to feel comfortable in the space (specific renos, schedules, add/remove appliances) Pros of the space: - Reliable access to downtown Halifax on weekdays - Quiet (by city standards) - Spacious and bright - Private bathroom - Large closets - Partially furnished (whatever you don't want, I'll remove) Cons: - Shared laundry - No oven (you're welcome to use the air fryer and for the right person the oven upstairs could be an option on occasion) - Not a full stove (there is an induction plate) - Small fridge - Small people being noisy upstairs from time to time This is situation where the space isn't for everyone. For the right person it'll be a gem. Open to negotiating to make it a cozy, harmonious home for everyone. |
