| To share a funky, artsy downtown 2 bdrm ground floor apartment in a beautiful, old, falling apart row house. I’m a musician and newcomer settlement agent for francophones, male, 45, queer/bisexual. Fairly eccentric, cook a lot, social but not a party animal (don’t drink). The room is smallish but has tons of storage, and a nice view of the southside hills out its big window. Currently furnished with queen futon, desk & chair, which can be stored if you have your own stuff. Shared kitchen, bathroom, and living room (where I also have my music stuff). Parking is on-street with a permit. No laundry sadly (hoping to get machines soon), though Mighty Whites laundromat is 600m away on Duckworth St. No smoking and no pets (sorry no exceptions). Note: smell from smokers downstairs permeates the house somewhat, so not suitable for those with asthma/allergies. Looking for someone laid back, considerate, open-minded, hoping for longer term. Rent is $425/mo plus power and internet (about $125 in winter). Available Sept 1st. Please tell me a bit about yourself in your reply. Thanks a lot! |
