| Sublet June 21st to August 21st (flexible). Your roommates: 2 females and 2 males in their mid 20s who are working students or recent graduates. We value a clean, respectful, and welcoming home given our predominantly Filipino backgrounds and we hope our newest member shares those same values. Location: The bedroom is located on the second floor of the house nearest to the stairs. It has a north-facing window providing natural sunshine and good air circulation. It also has a closet and en suite bathroom. Shared 2 kitchens and laundry room (in the basement). The rent would be $1,600 (negotiable) and the security deposit is $700 split equally by all the tenants. The room is furnished. Getting to UBC takes 20-25 minutes on the #99 UBC or #14 UBC and the bus stops for those are a 2-7 minute walk from the house. Getting to the Canada line takes about 20 mins on the #99 B-line. Getting to the Expo or Millennium line takes about 40 on the same bus. Both begin with a short 5-7 minute walk to the #99 B-line bus stop located in front of the West Broadway Safeway. Going downtown takes about 30-40 mins on the #14 Hastings and the #2 Downtown. The bus stop for #2 is near the West Broadway Safeway as well. It is also a short 15-20 minute walk to Kits beach or the shops on West 4th and a walkable distance to the majority of the shops and groceries on West Broadway. Rent includes electricity, heat, gas, water, Wi-Fi/internet, and garbage collection. There are two parking spots at the home and a lot of street parking available. The home comes with air conditioning and heated floors so the rooms are ready for any extreme weather. Since this is a house it's everyone's responsibility to help clean and take out the trash and we'll be looking for a roommate who can do that which will be further discussed. No smoking, parties, and pets. If you want to smoke must be outside the property. If interested please send me a brief description of yourself.
