| Hi! We are looking for a new roommate to join our hastings-sunrise household! A little about us! We are both clean, respectful folks, and are early risers, especially on weekdays. We enjoy hanging out together, gardening, cooking or having a beer and would love for someone to join in our home hangs but we also respect each other's solo time and space! Xan is 32 and works as a gardener and cabinetmaker and works weekdays and sometimes weekends. She has a passion for gardening, hiking, music, and always has new hobbies and projects on the go! Xan also has two rescue pups from Thailand, Sushi and Maki. They are sweet doggos once they get to know you, but do take a little time to warm up to new folks. They are reactive to other dogs, so sadly no more pups in the house. Natalie is 31 and works as an outdoor preschool teacher and is also a masters student at ubc. She is an avid animal lover, always on the lookout for neighbourhood cats to befriend! The room is a basement room with good-height ceilings (approx 6'8") and pretty good natural light. The room also has a half bathroom that would be exclusively yours, as well as space for a home office/living room area just outside the room.There is also a laundry room and a guest room in the basement which are shared. On the main floor there are two bedrooms, bathroom with shower, kitchen, and living room. The upstairs bedrooms are occupied by myself, Natalie, and Xan. We have a big backyard with a veggie garden, propane firepit, BBQ, and hangout space! What we are looking for in a roomate! We are seeking a clean and respectful person, in their late 20's-30's who enjoys the occasional social hang, and is a dog lover! Given our early schedule it would be great to live with someone on a similar early morning schedule, though this isn't necessarily a must. Looking forward to connecting with you! |
