| Unfurnished room for rent in a four-bedroom flat. Rent $470 (includes all utilities--even high-speed Internet) Damage deposit $400. Friendly roommates. Amazing location. We are three males looking for a fourth male to join us in our flat. We live in a three-storey walk-up, that has many international students and travellers. We are very close to the Commercial/Broadway station, grocery stores, sushi and fast food, laundry, and anything you might need at 3:00am with an all-night convenience store just next door. We have a beautiful park across the street and our yard is insanely huge. There's a propane BBQ you can use to host any garden parties or grill yourself up some meat. I'm the lease-holder for the flat, and over the past 7 years, I've been renting out rooms to international students, travellers and a few transplanted Canadians. I'm 53, a retired journalist and international aid worker, who is now living the quiet life. I have two roommates, and both have been here roughly 2 years. We get along great, with no fighting or drama. There's L**** who is 23, from France, and spends most of his time working and sleeping-over at his girlfriend's house. R***** is 29, from Mexico, and is studying some high-tech computer program here in Vancouver. He's always studying. It's a quiet apartment, everyone gets their own locked room, and we all share the common areas. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans/dishes, flatware, and blenders, microwave, mix-master, toaster, kettle, wok, etc... It's a great spot with roughly 10 people on the property. We are pot-friendly, and have a sheltered smoking area outside for cigarettes. If you are interested, please let me know something about yourself. Hobbies? Job? Working visa?
