| I have one bedroom + bathroom available for rent in my townhome, to live with me and my dog, located near the Fleetwood Community Centre. A female roommate is preferred, but anyone is welcome. The room is a bit tight for a couple, so a partner visiting occasionally is ok but a couple living together will not be accepted. No children. Rent is $1700/month, and includes utilities and internet, as well as a cleaner. It’s on a month-to-month basis. Internet is plenty fast enough for two casual users, and for working from home, but is likely not fast enough for gaming. You may upgrade the internet if you need. A cleaner will come once every second week. Your space: One bedroom furnished with a dresser and a double bed. The bathroom is full-sized with a tub. This will be your private washroom. The window looks over the back yard, and there are large trees giving you privacy from the townhouse complex behind. The home: The townhouse a large end unit with three bedrooms (one has been converted to an office) and 2.5 bathrooms. There is a double garage, and a fully fenced back yard. There is also a rec room that I have set up for outdoor gear storage and a small workout area. There is an in-unit washer and dryer. The office has two monitors. I work from home a couple days a week, so we can come up with a schedule for work from home days if needed. The garage does not have room for a second car, but you may park a motorcycle or bicycle in there. There is lots of free street parking available. The complex has an amenities room with a kitchen and pool table that you may book. No smoking or vaping in the home. The area: It’s a very safe neighborhood, and is far enough back from Fraser Hwy that we don’t get traffic noise. There is a park and the Fleetwood Community Centre near by. There is a grocery store and a large assortment of restaurants within a couple blocks. It’s a short walk to the bus stop, for buses 320, 395, 502, and 503. Less than 10 minute drive to Hwy 1, and less than 15 minute drive to the King George skytrain station. Pets: Unfortunately, we cannot allow another pet in the home. |
