| I have a fully furnished 1 BR ground level suite for rent starting Sept. 1. The house is just across the bridge on the North Shore waterfront; it takes about 35 min to walk to downtown Nelson, there is a bus stop at the top of the driveway, and there is a parking space for one vehicle. The suite is very bright with lots of windows and a large deck overlooking the lake. It is fully furnished including a TV (with cable), open concept kitchen and living/dining area, small bedroom with large closet, full bathroom with tub, and in-suite laundry. Rent is $1600 including all utilities, cable and wifi. It is a very quiet house (just me and one dog living upstairs) and I am looking for a quiet, responsible and respectful single person interested in renting it for 8-10mos (vacate by June 30 2025). It would be perfect for a student or a professional on a work contract/practicum. No smoking and unfortunately I cannot accept any more pets. References will be required.
