Ideal for a full time student or working professional who cares about children and would love to take care of a 5 yr old girl on a part time basis. My daughter is fairly independent and in full time day care (weekdays 7am to 4.30pm). As a part time Nanny, you will help with her morning and evening routines such as pick-up, drop-off, lunch bag prep, bathing and putting to bed. Applicants need to have their own vehicle with a clean driving record and a full class 5 license (gas will be reimbursed). No visitors, pets, smoking / vaping / drinking will be permitted. Minimum 2 references required. Some child minding and supervision is needed on weekends as well and this can be mutually negotiated to ensure you've adequate personal time for anything else. What you're getting in exchange is a very big, clean and spacious fully furnished private bedroom in the basement with a big shared bathroom. All utilities, internet access and in-house washer dryer are included. All this at a heavily subsidized monthly rent. Location is key! The basement is conveniently located close to trails, parks, bus stop and supermarket, making it easy to get around Abbotsford. Street parking is available right in front of the house.
