Existing tenant is a hard-working male, with cat allergies, rarely imbibes, doesn’t smoke, mature (over 60), homebody quiet and enjoy hosting friends/family for the odd dinner party. Consumables not provided. (i.e. spices, foods, foil, food wrap, bathroom products, etc.) and prefer that certain in-house septic safe household cleaning products, garbage bags, dish soap and maybe laundry soap are used. Ideal Roommate: We will discuss that, as most social media platforms now have ED&I “Rules” that keep everyone so safe that it’s becoming a prison offence to have preferences. If you enjoy cooking, a clean house, playing instruments (other than percussion) gardening, possibly preserving food and an organized Tupperware drawer then we might be a good fit. Gardening has become a passion, so hopefully there will be lots of fresh produce by the year’s end. There is always a fresh homemade loaf of sourdough on the counter to share. Tenant Insurance is required if wishing to insure your assets on the property for the rental term. Will discuss lease/tenancy agreement (month to month or fixed term). Internet WiFi, house power, gas, electrical and normal utilities incl. (No cable TV) Plenty of outdoor driveway parking – (no car plugs except on the coldest days unless power is paid for in advance) Secure rodent free Seacan storage may be available for SMALL amount of extra household goods you possess but may not need. No TV Cable subscription (Shaw). You should own most of your bedroom furniture and bathroom supplies like towels, shampoo, personal sundries etc. I can provide some storage basics like IKEA closets and a desk, shelving, but no bed. Main floor, kitchen with 2 fridges, and spare bedroom is furnished, all kitchen appliances, central vacuum, dishware, freezers, dish towels, WD, weight room, etc. There is possibly a small amount of space available in the loft next to workout area for your private TV, office space or sitting area. References and background will be checked. You are welcome to meet old roommates.
