Description
Pet-friendly bungalow (one-floor house) for rent. This means that there is a main floor to live on and a crawl space below for storage only. The main electrical panel is in the crawl space and can be accessed via hatch and small stairs below. The crawl space should not be otherwise accessed. The main floor has two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The living room is spacious with an extension in front of a large bay window. The kitchen comes with fridge and stove, but no dishwasher. This summer, I painted the kitchen and redid its flooring ( that's why some of the images show it with green paint. That was before. The image with grey floor and updated paint is obviously new). In the last 5 years, I put in new bedroom flooring, repainted the doors and baseboards, updated windows and blinds, and moved the stacking laundry from the crawl space to the main floor. The main bedroom has a walk-in closet and both bedrooms are good-sized. The back yard is large with a concrete pad for barbequing, fire pit, and patio furniture. There is a shed, but again, it’s for storage only. There is parking for about three cars in the back and street parking in the front. The yard is fully fenced and good for a small to medium-sized dog. This summer, I also re-seeded the lawn and sprayed for weeds. If incoming tenant has a dog, it is expected that the yard be maintained and all feces cleaned up regularly. The house is close to NAIT and would be ideal for someone going to school or working downtown. Close to transit and easy to access Yellowhead Trail. Alberta Avenue is the closest main street, with a convenience store, gas station, and Safeway nearby. Looking for respectful, non-smoking, long-term tenant(s), one-year lease minimum. Rent is $1500 per month and does not include utilities. Damage deposit is required and is also $1500. Proof of consistent income is necessary. Tenants with a history of making late or partial payments will not be considered. References will be checked.
