| We currently have an ‘extra large’ (ie. nearly 1/2 the basement) room, plus the use of an office and a semi private washroom for short term (approx. 5 month – or possibly longer?) shared house rental. Your space has large windows (see in pics) because this basement is mostly above ground. The main floor, kitchen and office are all fully furnished, the bedroom is either up to you to bring your own bed/dresser, or we can arrange one to be brought in for you. You are sharing the main house with the 3 'middle aged' men, (a 40+ research doctor, a 50+ year old pro driver and a 60+ semi retired contractor). We are all the rather 'boring' types (ie sober, quiet, non-smoking, too old to want to party, etc). Women would be welcome but we find most are not keen on the 'male style' (level of cleanliness, 'daintiness', etc) of housing that we have, but if you’re ‘brave enough’ you are welcome to apply. As this house is owned by a builder, they have it scheduled to be demolished at some point. We currently have the lease until April 30 and then we'll see what they have planned again for the next year. If/when we need to move we will likely find another house to share (or at least for those that want to stay together). Rent is $950/mo and includes all utilities, wi-fi, and cable TV.
