| Hi there potential roommate. We have a room for rent on the main floor of a house that is minutes away from Brentwood Station and the University of Calgary. One key thing here is that you must Love dogs. There are usually 3 dogs in the house, the first is a large size fostered younger dog, his friend a midsize dog that lives in the basement and an older Miniature Schnauzer. Ideally the room will be rented to someone who is into dogs and would be willing to play and interact with the dogs. Rent is $700 which includes all utilities including high-speed Wifi and parking out front. A 1 month damage deposit of $700. The room is unfurnished, but we could provide some furniture if needed. Looking for a longer term lease but we can negotiate that as well The main floor is shared by me a male and a woman. I am in grad school at the University of Calgary, so I am busy most of the time, but I do love the outdoors and get out snowboarding/hiking as much as I can. The other main floor roommate is a friendly woman who is semi-retired and loves to socialize whenever you are up for it. The basement roommate has a 1 full time working woman plus her dog and is usually gone on the weekends. We are all friendly and get along very well, you also get the option of using the shared space of the living room, dining room and kitchen and any pots and pans as well as fridge/cupboard space.
