This quiet, beautiful home is literally just steps away from Meewasin Trail, which is maintained even in the winter; great for walking and biking. Room does not come furnished. Images are of actual rooms but furnishing is shown is just for inspiration. You would be one of 3 quiet roommates who are working professionals or students. Everyone is very respectful, mindful of cleaning up after themselves, and are considerate of quiet hours from 10pm - 6am. Besides your room, of course, you can enjoy the shared dining and kitchen area, living room, bathroom, complete with a large bath tub, and laundry area. In the warmer months, you can enjoy sitting in the pretty sunroom, and hanging out in the quiet backyard, full of open space, tall trees, birds, along with a firepit. You will have your own cupboard space in the kitchen for your pantry goods, as well as fridge and freezer space, of course. Garage parking may be available for an additional fee, so just ask about that if you're interested. This is a pet-free, smoke-free home. Included in the rent is internet, water, power. Roommates pitch in for things like cleaning supplies. Roommates share cleaning activities, for example, one roommate will clean the washroom, one will do the kitchen, and one will do the floors once a week. Takes 15 minutes. Everyone pitches in as needed for things like taking out the garbage and common sense things like that. Some people squak about having to share cleaning duties but cleaning one area once a week is a better deal than having to clean your whole apartment by yourself. My friend, who lives at and manages the household takes care of cleaning other areas, along with putting the garbage bins out, shoveling snow, etc. That pretty much covers it.
