| July1st- We are renting our charming, very private country cottage, which has been in our family for over 110 years. It’s located on Lake Memphremagog (one of the most desirable lakes in the Eastern Townships), down a private road on a point. The spacious deck sits right on the edge of the lake. It is tree covered, with spectacular views of the lake and Owl’s Head mountain in the distance. Enjoy a view that very few will ever experience, with direct lake access. This cottage has 2 bedrooms, each with Queen sized beds, along a guest room that has a pullout couch, accommodating up to 6 people. There is 1 bathroom, with a standing shower and a washer & dryer. Towels and linens are provided. There is also a full country kitchen. Everything you need for a great summer vacation! It's a short 15 minute drive to the charming town of Magog, with fantastic restaurants and shopping. The city of Sherbrooke is also only a 25 minute drive, and the Vermont border is only 35 minutes. It sits on 2.5 acres of land on a point, with 370 feet of private waterfront. Far from our friendly family neighbours on either side. There is also a brand new dock that can accommodate chairs for several people, as well as a boat if you have one. There is also unlimited high speed internet, and a fireplace for chilly nights. There is ample parking for several cars. Just bring your suitcases and you’re ready to go!
