| Hello all, I am almost finished with my studies here and plan to move out and sublet my room to someone else from April 21st to August 26th. You are free to pursue taking over the lease with management for after August 27th, as I will have moved out permanently as of April 20th. The rent I am charging is $700 per month. The address is 1700 Simcoe St N, Unit 502, room A. It is on the 5th floor and has a balcony. All the amenities are included in the rent including water, heating/AC, and internet. The building features weekly events, a workout room, a laundry room, a gaming room, and study rooms. The room is one of four in the unit, so there are three other guys here. There is a shared fridge and kitchen with designated cupboard space. There is also a large shared closet and a coat closet which is also shared. To be open and honest: some of the roommates here currently are not very clean and enjoy partying, but note that the price above is a great price for a 4 bedroom unit room and is not permanent. If you want to move to another unit in the building, you can do that after August 27th. If you enjoy the vibe and want to stay longer, the current price of a 4 bedroom unit is more than $900 per month which would have to be paid starting after my lease ends on August 27th. There are more affordable 5 bedroom units available as well. There are two bathrooms and the bathroom you would be using has been kept clean. We are currently sharing two per bathroom. The location is walking distance from Durham College, No Frills, fast food, a thrift store, and other stores are accessible quickly via bus. Below are pictures of my room. The furniture that would be available is the bed, desk, chair, and two large drawers which I have tucked under the bed. They are large enough to fit 9 pairs of pants each if you wanted an idea on how much space they provide. There is a closet with a shelf at the top as well. Other than that, I am planning to take everything with me. I am willing to leave some stuff behind for anyone interested such as the shelves on the walls and the closet organizer!
