| We are in the planning/permitting stage of a new development of 12-18 small houses (500-800 sq ft), half with full basements. This kind of development is known as a Cluster Development. The area is semi rural (15 min to North Bay) on a large acreage but with the houses about as close as you would have in the city, and the rest is green space/walking trials etc. The objective is to provide an affordable option to home ownership at a much lower price than a [phone removed] sq ft typical new build , our units are more like an alternative to apartment, but a hybrid sort of like a condo/townhouse structure. Units will be avail as rentals for approx [phone removed] inclusive of everything including grounds care. But our ultimate goal is to have the units purchased by the residents. Selling price would be 300-360k (depending on options and basement or not) , and would qualify for conventional financing like a condo would.
