This tiny house is a vacation rental property during the summer and is available in the fall and winter months for longer rentals at significantly lower rates. It comes equipped with everything you need for an extended getaway, including furniture, high speed internet, cozy bedding and a spectacular place to curl up and enjoy the seasons. This beautiful tiny house has a large private yard with fabulous views of the surrounding forest and hills. Frequent wildlife sightings from the living room include turkey, deer, woodpeckers and more. It is located at Big Calm, an emerging tiny homesteads community, mid-way between Winlaw and Slocan. This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore tiny living! This is a rural location, with no cell-service on the property. There is high-speed internet, as mentioned before, provided using StarLink internet services. There are 3 other tiny homes on the 30-acre property, all with residents of their own. 2 of these residents work remotely using the internet service, so you can be assured it is fast enough for your needs. The tiny house has a fully equipped kitchen, complete with an apartment-sized refrigerator, a three-burner propane range and stove, deep sink, and all the utensils and kitchen amenities needed to cook all your meals in the comfort of your home. The surprisingly spacious bathroom includes a wide shower, RV-style toilet and sink, and is everything you need to look and feel your best during the stay. There is a queen bed located in the loft, as well as a fold-out couch in the living area if you plan on having guests over to stay. The house is equipped with a mini-split heating and A/C unit, ensuring you're comfortable no matter what the temperature outside. Laundry facilities located on site in a separate building. Rates are based on how long you stay, but start at $550/week or $1800/month. Available from April – early June for stays up to 1 month. Pets allowed with an added fee and damage deposit. |
