We are a couple in our 40s/50s renting a house and are seeking a compatible, single house-mate to sublet our spacious basement unit too. We are gardeners, geeks and generally good company. Utilities: Hydro and gas are included in the rent. Availability: April 1st forward Pets: One cat permitted. We have two cats that live upstairs. No dogs (due to allergies and lease restrictions). The renter's private space includes: A basement suite with a large bedroom, living room (with electric fireplace) and kitchenette (fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster oven), a bathroom (shower only), and separate entrance to the unit. Several windows and good lighting. Shared spaces include: A laundry room, a storage space, access to a full kitchen upstairs as needed (with stove + dishwasher) and a beautiful, large backyard patio. Parking: There is a driveway accessible from the back lane for you to park a car. The basement unit entrance opens onto this driveway.
