| Comfortably furnished, light-filled bedroom in a beautiful home. There is a 48" Smart TV, a fridge, and a desk in the room. Cable, Internet, street parking, and utilities are included along with bedding, clothes hangers, towels, and all cleaning supplies. You need only bring your personal possessions. Our home is your home so you have access to all common areas including our yard. Our yard is beautiful and relaxing, having been installed primarily by myself using Permaculture principles. I grow lots of food, which I am happy to share. If you are a gardener, you are welcome to work in the yard. I can always use help with weeding and other tasks. Family and friends are welcome to visit, but no wild parties. The bathroom next to the bedroom is yours. We sometimes have visitors, plus we have another roommate who stays occasionally. When this happens, you must share the bathroom. Otherwise, it is completely yours. We are an easygoing couple seeking an emotionally mature roommate. Age does not matter; we simply want a roommate we do not have to parent or tiptoe around. Couples are welcome, but the rent will be slightly higher to compensate for the additional utilities. While we expect roommates to be clean and clean up after themselves, our house is not spotless because we have dogs. You must like dogs and not be afraid of them since this is their home as well. Our dogs are active so our home is not always quiet. Therefore, if you are a shift worker or work overnights, this likely is not the home for you. Your own pet is welcome provided they get along with our dogs. References will be checked. Minimum six-month lease signed prior to move in is required. Damage deposit and first month’s rent must be paid in full prior to move in. Adults only, no children. No smokers or people trying to quit smoking. I am extremely allergic to cigarette smoke so even the smell on someone’s clothes makes me violently ill. Because of my allergies, you must follow a scent-free lifestyle (no colognes and perfumes, unscented deodorant, unscented laundry detergent, etc.). No cannabis use in any form and no vaping. While we are not opposed to this, we do not want it in our home or on our property. What you do elsewhere is your business. |
